'Juice Organics' Brightening Facial Kit - Review

I received 'Juice Organics' Brightening facial kit as a Christmas gift this year. Obviously, I love organic beauty products, so naturally I was very excited to try it out. First, let me give you more information about this two-part facial kit, which contains a cleanser and a moisturizer. The kit is made with certified organic products and manufactured in Petaluma, California. The products contain NO:
  • parabens
  • phthalates
  • sulfates
  • artificial colors or fragrances
  • pesticides
  • propylene glycol
  • petroleum
The brightening cleanser contains organic hydroxy acid-rich lemon and apple juices that brighten your skin, while the brightening moisturizer contains vitamin antioxidants, hydroxy acid-rich lemon and apple, raw can sugar, coenzyme Q10, and peptides that improve your skin's tone and texture.

My Personal Results

I immediately noticed my face looked more radiant after using the cleanser. The cleanser has fine granules (I think cane sugar) that remove impurities and really clean your skin. I really saw a difference, and will continue to use the cleanser regularly. I also really liked the moisturizer, as it seemed to give my skin a pretty glow. Although a little moisturizer spreads thinly and goes a long way, I was disappointed by the small amount (0.5 oz.) of moisturizer included in this two-part kit. The cleanser contained 2 oz. of product, which was much more suitable.

The Bottom Line

This is one of the best facial kits I've ever used, and I am really impressed with the results of the two products. You can purchase 'Juice Organics' Brightening Moisturizer separately at Amazon.com for $16.99 for 1.7 oz (full size). Amazon.com also sells 'Juice Organics' Brightening Cleanser for under $10 for 6 oz., which is a great deal for the quality you're getting with this product. You can probably find the kit at drugstore.com if you don't want to purchase the moisturizer and cleanser separately. So far, I have found the kit lasts for about one month with daily use. I suggest purchasing the kit if you're unsure about whether you'll like the products or just want to use them for traveling purposes. However, I am very happy with them and I definitely want to purchase them separately in full sizes.

All the Best,
April

Egg White Facial Mask

If you're desiring to tighten your pores, clear up acne, and brighten your skin, consider using an egg white facial mask. I tried it a couple times, and my skin looked radiant. As you know, egg white contains protein, and protein is essential to keeping skin supple and youthful. Homemade egg white masks cost far less than store-bought facial masks, and they do not contain harsh ingredients or perfumes that irritate skin and cause premature aging. Of course, you won't want to try an egg white mask if you're allergic to the ingredients below.

Egg White Mask Recipe
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 tsp. organic honey
  • 1/2 tsp. pure lemon juice
  1. Mix the ingredients thoroughly with an egg beater or other mixing device.
  2. Using your fingers, gently massage the mixture onto your face. Carefully avoid your eyes and mouth.
  3. Leave the mask on your face until your skin begins to tighten, which is typically 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Thoroughly rinse your face, peeling off all the mask.
  5. Let your face air-dry.
Note: Never keep an egg mask in the refrigerator longer than two days, as it will begin to acquire an odor.

All the Best,
